DEXM partnered with the Guernsey Training Agency to rebuild their digital systems and create a unified solution that underpins both their public website and the day to day management of their training operations.
The GTA plays a key role in supporting skills development and professional training across Guernsey. Prior to the project, many of their operational processes were spread across multiple software tools, spreadsheets and disconnected systems. This made it difficult to manage courses, bookings and administration efficiently while limiting visibility across the organisation.
Our goal was to consolidate these fragmented processes into a single, future proof system that would streamline operations, improve efficiency and provide a better digital experience for users.
Working closely with the GTA team, we designed and built a new website alongside a bespoke administration system that manages the full lifecycle of their training programmes.
The public website provides a clear and accessible interface for users to discover training opportunities, explore programmes and complete bookings online. The website was designed and developed in collaboration with Potting Shed, building on their recent rebrand of the GTA. The new digital experience reflects the updated identity while delivering a clean, modern and intuitive interface for users.
Behind the scenes, a powerful administration system provides a 360 degree view of the organisation’s operations. The system manages a wide range of processes including course scheduling, bookings, invoicing, payments, examinations, learner feedback and venue management.
By consolidating multiple tools and spreadsheets into a single connected system, the GTA team now has far greater visibility and control across their programmes while significantly reducing manual administration.
The system also integrates with AdFin Payments, allowing users to complete secure online payments as part of the booking process. DEXM worked closely with the AdFin team to ensure a smooth integration and a seamless booking and payment experience.
Built on Umbraco Cloud
The website was developed using Umbraco Cloud, providing the GTA team with a flexible and reliable content management system.
The intuitive editing experience allows staff to easily update content, manage course information and publish updates without developer support. Cloud hosting and automated deployment also ensure the system remains secure, scalable and easy to maintain as the organisation grows.

The final solution delivers far more than a website. It provides a connected digital system that now sits at the heart of the GTA’s operations.
By bringing together their website, course management, bookings, payments and operational workflows into a single ecosystem, the system has significantly improved efficiency across the organisation while providing a modern and accessible experience for users.
